Ever wonder what it's like to work alongside Will Smith? Well, aside from negotiating around his enormous trailer, it turns out it's mostly hearing a lot of, "So, want to help make my kid an even bigger star?"--or so it seems from today's news that Smith wants his Men in Black III co-star Emma Thompson to write that Annie remake he's planning as a starring vehicle for his ten-year-old daughter, Willow. According to Vulture, Smith and fellow producer Jay-Z are in negotiations to hire on Thompson--whose writing CV includes the Nanny McPhee series, Sense and Sensibility, and the sitcom Thompson--to pen their reboot of the Broadway hit. And because Will Smith wants this for his offspring, it shall be done. Hey, Jaden's going to be a senator next year!
