Fan 'Adventures of Tintin' Title Sequence Garners Spielberg Love

October 26, 2011

Alright, so apparently everyone but me has already seen these fan-made Adventures of Tintin--including Steven Spielberg. As proof of this, director Edgar Wright recently tweeted:

So @slimjimstudios does unofficial #Tintin titles, Spielberg sees 'em, give him invite to prem & job on next movie...

This is a little personally depressing because Steven Spielberg surely spends far less time than me on the internet, meaning in addition to being a better blockbuster director than me, Spielberg is even better than me at dicking around online. Can't I have anything, Spielberg? Surprisingly little compassion from the man behind Schindler's List. But on the other hand, this is exciting, because these credits are really good, and their creator, James Curran, deserves this sort of recognition from both the internet as a whole and Jaws guy. So, if you too are one of the few non-Spielbergs who has not seen this, give it a look. I think you'll like it, and you would probably also hire this man if Spielberg hadn't beat you to it. Just like he beat you to your "Whip Adventurer" movie idea.
