When it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month, David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook was met with overwhelming critical praise and took home TIFF's People's Choice Award. But why trust the haughty opinions of "critics" and "people" when you can trust your own eyes with a new trailer for the film? Set for release November 21, the dramedy stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence as psychologically-damaged neighbors who come together over jogging, coffee, dancing, and the shouting of Robert De Niro. It definitely looks like a crowd-pleaser. Unless Lincoln secretly includes some scenes of Abe and Mary Todd cheerfully finding a second chance at quirky love, Spielberg might have some competition come awards time.
