Movie 43 is a new omnibus comedy consisting of 25 shorts made by some people you probably like, other people you definitely do not like, and still others who you recognize but don't really have strong feelings about, like Kieran Culkin and Richard Gere. Among the directors involved in the project: Bob Odenkirk, soon-to-be Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, greasy Brett Ratner, Peter Farrelly, Mr. Deeds and Drillbit Taylor director Steven Brill, Daddy Day Care/Paul Blart's Steve Carr, the star of After Hours, and Elizabeth Banks. Among the actors: Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Uma Thurman, Naomi Watts, two-thirds of the main cast of Dukes of Hazzard, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloë Grace Moretz, Emma Stone, Gerard Butler CGI'd into a leprechaun, Stephen Merchant, Jason Sudeikis, and another twenty or so other notable names, like Richard Gere.
Here's the quite not-safe-for-work trailer. If you saw David Wain's The Ten, it sort of looks like that, but less thematic, and somehow without the cohesion of Paul Rudd. How is Paul Rudd not in this?
