Ryan Gosling No Longer Logan's Running

The forever in-development Logan's Run remake is still apparently happening, but no longer will its vision of the future include Ryan Gosling's utopian dreaminess. Gosling had long been set to lead the film for Nicolas Winding Refn--marking what would be their third collaboration, after Drive and the upcoming Only God Forgives--but Variety's Justin Kroll last night revealed the actor is no longer attached to the project. His reason for leaving the film haven't been divulged, though various "hey girl, heard you weren't that into sci-fi" scenarios are likely being imagined by lustfully-sighing girls that aren't that into sci-fi.
