Returning to the superhero franchise he started for X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer has previously said he'd like to "bring some connectivity between the films," but it seems he won't be building his bridges across taut, polished cow hide this time around.
Before anyone even thought to ask him about it, the man who first defined the X-Men as mutant leather daddies yesterday took to Twitter to relieve anyone worried about the series' return to non-vegan uniforms. Said Singer:
"For those of you wondering...no leather suits. #xmen"
So good news if you liked the more comic book-faithful, less leathery direction the outfits took in X-Men: First Class. Bad news for Singer's local Wilsons Leather outlet.
