HBO Cancels 'Enlightened' Before You Could Get into It


If you're one of those people who likes to wait for a series to be over before you catch up on it, know that it sometimes gets really annoying how you're like that. Also, know that you can now get going with Enlightened. Despite getting largely-positive reviews, a Golden Globe for star Laura Dern, and a way for Mike White to be on television without resorting to reality game shows, HBO has canceled the comedy-drama after its second season failed to bring ratings up enough. Sorry, fans of Enlightened. There's always talking about how maybe there could be a movie some day.
