Veronica Mars: The Motion Picture is a go. In a testament to fans' power of paying for things, Rob Thomas's Veronica Mars movie Kickstarter has already made its goal, climbing over its $2 million funding minimum within its first day. Given that there's still a month left for old fans to donate and get rewards, or for non-fans to catch up and jump on the bandwagon, there's no telling how high the budget could climb by the end of the project's 30-day fundraising deadline. The show may at last be able to afford the ending its cult of devotees have long demanded. Where Kristen Bell would solve the larger mysteries of the universe, by transforming into a space-jet and flying off.
