It's been a couple years since Thor last saw the long-distance girlfriend he made on summer vacation. But with his duties with The Avengers on hold, and Odin seemingly weakening to Thor's pleas to drive him, at last the Asgardian yokel will be reunited with the only girl who really gets him in this fall's Thor: The Dark World. Of course, as Marvel's Norse universe follows the Crocodile Dundee model, for the sequel, Thor's like, "Babe, you gotta see my hometown!" So now he's taking her back to his native Asgard, where pretty much everything is gold, and you can wear a sheet as a shirt.
Their pleasant reunion of strolling around in bedding isn't long to last, though: when the Dark Elves and their facially-bisected attack, somehow Natalie Portman gets caught in front of a dangerous-looking green screen, and to save her, Thor is forced to begrudingly team up with his biggest frenemy. That's right: Loki. Or possibly Rush frontman Geddy Lee?
