Another Actor Lured into Natalie Portman's Cursed Western

The siren's call of Natalie Portman being like, "Hey, let's do another movie together immediately," has lured in yet another victim to Jane Got a Gun. The film has had an awful time of keeping a cast and crew together, with director Lynne Ramsay and actors Michael Fassbender, Jude Law, and most recently Bradley Cooper abruptly exiting production since its start late last month. Rumors said Portman had planned to next call up former co-stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, Tom Hiddleston, and/or Joseph Gordon-Levitt to fill in for the departing Cooper, but Deadline now says the call has instead gone to Ewan McGregor, who knows a thing or three about doing God-forsaken genre projects with Natalie Portman. McGregor is said to be in negotiations to take the antagonist role, potentially making this an even bigger Star Wars reunion than Episode VII: the film has Joel Edgerton--the prequels' Young Uncle Owen--signed to play Portman's ally and former lover, while, marking his dramatic return to acting, Jake Lloyd will be the gun.
