'The IT Crowd' Finally Getting a Proper Finale


The IT Crowd is returning to television in a way that thankfully still won't be this discomforting US version. BleedingCool reports Graham Linehan has announced the show's long-promised finale will finally shoot in just a few weeks--by then almost three years since the end of the fourth series. Despite at least a couple of them now having Hollywood careers and other shows going, stars Richard Ayoade, Chris O'Dowd, Katherine Parkinson, and Matt Berry are all returning for what will be just a 40-minute special to wrap things up. It's not yet clear when it will air, nor when it will join its brethren in being more widely and readily available on Netflix and Hulu. Still, this is probably the most suitable response:
