Brad Pitt, Penélope Cruz, Michael Fassbender, Decapitation, and More in Ridley Scott's 'The Counselor' Trailer

counselor-russian-trailer.jpg

Alright, first the bad news: unless you speak Russian, you are not going to understand any words in this first international teaser for The Counselor. But the good news is, it doesn't even matter that much, because there's still enough to absorb without knowing exactly what Russian Brad Pitt is saying. The film boasts a script from Cormac McCarthy (bonus: there are some excerpts from that screenplay in this recent New Yorker article) and the typically-intense direction of Ridley Scott, and it's got a cast that includes Pitt, Javier Bardem, Michael Fassbender, both non-Cruise leads from Vanilla Sky, and more. Plus, it sees Bardem finally finish his personal trilogy of idiotic hairstyles, and a dude on a motorcycle gets his head clotheslined off, so you're obviously going to want to watch this anyway. Don't be a dumb.

[UPDATE: Now not in Russian, so forget all that part.]

God, I cannot wait to find out who's counseling who.
