Tom Hanks Will Wait Around in 'Hologram for the King'
Tom Hanks is re-teaming with his Cloud Atlas director to, disappointingly, not put on a bunch of stupid costumes this time. According to Variety, he'll star in Tom Tykwer's A Hologram for the King, an adaptation of last year's Dave Eggers novel set in a burgeoning Saudi Arabian city. Hanks will play Alan Clay, a struggling American businessman preparing a pitch for a king, worrying about debts and a lump on his neck, and doing a lot of waiting. Then Hanks and a holographic version of himself will together do the keyboard dance from Big, hopefully.
