Cult psychological-horror Jacob's Ladder, the 1990 film that sees Tim Robbins as a Vietnam vet haunted as literally as possible by the demons of war, is getting a remake. Midnight Meat Train writer Jeff Buhler will build a new draft of a script for LD Entertainment, and producers reportedly say they're looking to make something "more akin to an homage" than remake, as they plan to change the characters and modernize the setting to better reach today's horribly-traumatized soldiers of a deeply-contested war. Producers are now looking for a director, while fans of Adrian Lyne's original will just keep on hoping they're dead.
