Kanye West's Old HBO Comedy Pilot Is Pretty Weird To Watch

Well, here's a strange thing: a scene from an unaired HBO pilot that's basically Kan-yer Enthuasiam. Appropriately, Curb's Larry Charles directed the untitled show, which saw West trying his hand at the Larry David-style of playing an exaggerated actually pretty subdued version of himself. Charles told ComingSoon he got involved with the project when the rapper introduced himself as "the black Larry David"--unfortunate that didn't catch on as much as "Yeezus"--and claimed the show was "really good" if perhaps "too hardcore for HBO." Judging by this clip, it's not clear if any of those descriptions are quite accurate, but it is certainly something.
