Kevin Costner To Finally Be Stuffed with Drugs for Guillermo del Toro
Turning the clock back about a decade, when a movies came out and Kevin Costner would relatively-frequently be in them in a prominent role, Costner has reportedly entered talks to actually be the main star of Universal's Midnight Delivery. The Guillermo del Toro produced and conceived film has a script from Mama writer and Luther creator Neil Cross; it focuses on a father who, in order to save his son's life, becomes a drug mule. Sometimes that's just how it goes for a middle-aged dad. You've seen Breaking Bad.
The part is just the latest of what's been a recent career revival for Costner, who's following up his fatherly Man of Steel role with roles in Draft Day, an assassin thriller and two Tom Clancy films. Just another few years of this and he might finally push Waterworld off his IMDb "known for" section. But until then, you may know Kevin Costner from Dances with Wolves, The Untouchables, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and Waterworld.
