Nolan Almost Forgot To Shove Topher Grace in That Wormhole, and Other Casting News

- Topher Grace is reportedly the latest to join the ever-expanding cast of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. He joins Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, John Lithgow, et al. in the sci-fi wormhole adventure. Grace's role isn't known, but if the film happens to have a slimy little weasel who ends up getting torn apart by a black hole, I bet I know who that guy is.

- Rosemarie DeWitt will reportedly join MGM and Fox 2000's Tobe Hooper-directed Poltergeist remake as the film's Craig She-Nelson.

- M. Night Shyamalan's supposedly Twin Peaks-like 10-episode Fox series, Wayward Pines, has reportedly added Terrence Howard in the role of the titular town's local sheriff. It's a surprising combination of director and actor, given Shyamalan's notorious proclivity for third-act twists compared with Howard's love of a clean end.

- In an increasingly-rare example of her doing something without Robert Rodriguez or a Windows 8 phone, Jessica Alba is said to be joining Chris Pine, Patrick Wilson, David Hasselhoff and Ray Liotta in Joe Carnahan's Stretch.
