Abrams may have been made head of our most prestigious fictional science programs, but it's nice to see he hasn't outgrown his penchant for cryptic bullshit promoting some indiscernible mystery project. The producer-director's Bad Robot banner today uploaded this minute-long black-and-white video, sending a link to EW but otherwise refusing to identify the teaser beyond the title "Stranger." Your guess is as good any for what it's hazily promoting, but judging by the voiceover and imagery, Soon: A New Scent from J.J. and Clive Barker's Aquaman both seem equally likely.
