A few years ago, the animation studio behind Astro Boy, TMNT, and a canceled attempt at a Gatchaman movie took another stab at a geek-beloved franchise with a Legend of Zelda film. The project never got past the test footage stage--Imagi Animation showed it as a pitch to Nintendo, who ultimately decided it did not meet the standards of that 1989 series that made Link such an obnoxious dick--but that demo video has now made it online (via), and you can have a look at it below. Ideal for the Zelda enthusiast who always imagined Link with the beautiful eyes of an angel.
