Clooney has assembled a team, by my measure, more impressive than his Ocean's squad by Bill Murray's inclusion alone, and this time they're after an even greater score: priceless art stolen by the Nazis. Clooney, Murray, Matt Damon, John Goodman, Bob Balaban, Jean Dujardin, and Cate Blanchett make up a team of WWII-era historians and curators who go to war with the noble, Indiana Jones-style goal of getting the Nazi bounty back in a museum--and with the equally-noble effect of giving us the Oceans 11, O Brother, Where Art Thou, The Artist, and various Wes Anderson reunions we all want to see.
Clooney also directs, and seems to have brought all the jaunty danger and bar-based recruitment scenes from his Confessions of a Dangerous Mind to this latest project, as he only gets too self-serious every other film. In short, while you may not love this trailer, you'll have to actively try pretty hard to dislike it, because come on. What part of this does not sound enjoyable?
