HBO's 'Hello Ladies' Trailer: Stephen Merchant's Gangling Adventure in Dating

If you can imagine a lost Richard Curtis sub-plot by way of Stephen Merchant's Extras piteousness, you're most of the way to understanding what Merchant seems to have brought to HBO with Hello Ladies. The comedy series sees The Office co-creator striking out on his own, sans Ricky Gervais, in Los Angeles, where he's gawkily looking for love but instead finding increasingly-awkward rejection, because that's hopefully funnier.

Here's the latest trailer. Let it be a lesson that going into public and calling a group of ladies "ladies" is always going to come off pretty weird.
