Your weekend box office:

1. Thor: The Dark World - $38.5 million. At last Thor has vanquished his toughest foe: a 14-year-old wedding party reunion.

2. The Best Man Holiday - $30.6 million. Deflated by Marvel again, eh, Terrence Howard?

3. Last Vegas - $8.9 million. Well done, Old Men Being Irreverent #1!

4. Free Birds - $8.3 million this weekend but still lagging over $10 million behind its $55 million budget. The advertising probably should have been more explicit in explaining that turkeys are nothing but biological Planes.

5. Bad Grandpa - $7.7 million. Well done, Old Men Being Irreverent #2!
