He once caused controversy with his sexually-charged Super Bowl halftime show. Now, seven years later, he's returning to the biggest night in football to once again get people talking when they all ask aloud why Prince is on a broadcast sitcom. E! reports the artist currently known as Prince will guest star on the Super Bowl night episode of New Girl, making his first ever appearance on a televised comedy. Turns out Prince also was not secretly playing Paul on The Wonder Years.
Prince will, naturally, be playing Prince, and will supposedly "interfere with the show's much-loved coupling of Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel)." Like when you're making love to sexy Prince songs and Batdance comes on and ruins the mood, but in person.
