Warner Bros. has reportedly offered the Pan role of Hook to Garrett Hedlund, just the guy from the Tron sequel you always imagined as the pirate captain. The lighter model Charlie Hunnam will play a young, pre-crocodile-hating version of the character, who at this point in the story will be on the other side of piracy, waging war against Hugh Jackman's Blackbeard. Joe Wright is directing the film, and it's scheduled for a summer 2015 release. For those who just can't wait, in the interim, NBC will fill your Peter Pan needs with a live musical special version of the tale. For some reason, Hugh Jackman will not be in that one.
