Traveling merchant and pool game Marco Polo is headed to Netflix. The streaming service has announced that they've picked up a Polo series originally planned for Starz and created by Young Guns I & II writer John Fusco. Set for late this year, the show is said to focus on Polo's journey to 13th century China, and though there isn't yet an announced cast, there are thrilling words attached: they promise "astonishing martial arts, sexual intrigue, political skullduggery and spectacular battles." Netflix: bringing us the skullduggery television is too afraid of.
