'Lego Movie' Sequel Has New Director Attached
True to the Lego nature of rearranging pieces to cover up that you lost a couple, Warner Bros. has reportedly shifted Chris McKay into the director's position for their Lego Movie sequel. McKay moves up from being animation co-director on the original film, which was directed by Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street miracle workers Phil Lord and Chris Miller. McKay also served as a director on Moral Orel, Robot Chicken, and Titan Maximum, but this will be his first time directing a full-scale feature film. Lucky for him, making things out of Lego is easy. And fun!
