Edgar Wright Figured Out What He'll Do Instead of 'Ant-Man'

July 22, 2014

Edgar Wright may be out of the picture on Marvel's Ant-Man, but he isn't giving up on absurd-sounding noun combination titles. According to Deadline, he's moved on from superheroes to something called Baby Driver, a new project that he's already written to direct. It's said that, at this stage, frequent collaborators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost aren't directly involved, but otherwise this sounds very much like a Wright production, described as "a collision of crime, action, music and sound." Will that music be Simon & Garfunkel's "Baby Driver"? Will the crime be letting a baby drive a car? Will the action be trying to get this dangerous infant driver off the road? Will the sound be the baby shouting, "You get off the road, pal," because the baby also talks? We'll be finding out soon, as it's said the film "is happening on a fast track," Edgar Wright's new little baby flying down the production highway.
