George Clooney is attached to make a film about that boring old hacking scandal that didn't even expose a bunch of naked pictures of famous people. He'll reportedly produce and direct an adaptation of Nick Davies' Hack Attack, a book about the phone hacking scandal that hit News Corp. in 2011. The nonfiction details how Rupert Murdoch's News of the World ended up closing due to allegations of their breaking into voice mails and bank accounts of British officials, celebrities, and more. Production is expected to begin next year, at which point we will have hopefully stopped so closely associated hacking with masturbation.
