If you always thought the Avengers could actually use more emphasis on the archery guy, you're luck: Sony is looking to make what's being called an Avengers-style universe out of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. The studio is reportedly in talks to pay over a million dollars for a pitch it's said will launch a Robin Hood franchise that, beyond involving "the magic words 'universe' and 'Avengers,'" is also being described as having the tone of the Mission: Impossible and Fast & Furious series. Little John will maybe scale a skyscraper while Will Scarlet cruises around in a sweet-ass car. "Tuck you," Friar Tuck could say, just before blowing up the Sheriff of Nottingham's horse. In keeping with such a cool and edgy tone, the working title is "Hood," because of course it is.
