See Kroll in Crisis in the 'Adult Beginners' Trailer

March 13, 2015

A disturbingly sincere Nick Kroll is out to find himself and find redemption in the way only an indie dramedy can provide. He's the star of Adult Swimmers, a new film executive produced by the Duplass Brothers and bearing their marks of growing up and living with relatives. Kroll plays an entrepreneur who just lost all his and his investors' money, sending him into crisis and into the home of his sister (Rose Byrne) and her husband (Bobby Cannavale). There, he becomes their nanny, learns to swim, occasionally hangs out with fellow actors-who-usually-play-jackasses (Joel McHale and Jason Mantzoukas), and will almost certainly have a scene where an emotional song rises as he stares pensively.
