Disney Made a Bunch More Money Over the Weekend

Well, looks like Disney can keep the freezers chilling Walt's corpse going at full blast for another month.

Over the weekend, Walt Disney Studios dominated for a second straight weekend, holding on to the top two spots thanks to the enduring appeal of CGI panthers and men dressed up as panthers. Captain America: Come On, Guys, Just Be Friends easily held the top spot with another massive haul, bringing in over $72 million in its second weekend. The Jungle Book But Realistic-Looking This Time, meanwhile, held on to second over newcomers Money Monster and The Darkness.

1. Captain America: Civil War - $72.6 million

2. The Jungle Book - $17.8 million

3. Money Monster - $15 million

4. The Darkness - $5.2 million

5. Mother's Day - $3.3 million
