Unable to resist the obvious allure of being around when Clueless director Amy Heckerling reunites with her muse, that outspoken vegetarian from the Aerosmith videos, Sigourney Weaver has joined the Alicia Silverstone/Krysten Ritter vampire comedy Vamps. Go on, Hollywood Reporter:

Written by Heckerling, the writer-director behind "Clueless" and "Look Who's Talking," the modern-day story focuses on beautiful young vampires (Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter) who are living the good nightlife in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality.

The UTA-repped Weaver, coming off of "Avatar," will play Ciccerus, the bloodthirsty vampire who turned the two ladies into creatures of the night.

So this film proposes vampires can lose their immortality through love somehow? When I combine this new knowledge with what I've learned from Twilight, Bunnicula, and Count Duckula cartoons, I realize now I have absolutely no clue what's going on with vampire lore.
