Aronofsky and Weisz Being All Coupley, Cinematically Speaking

Darren Aronofsky and Rachel Weisz have made another move to secure themselves as "best couple" amongst their other film-making couple friends. Entertainment Weekly says the two, who previously collaborated on The Fountain, will be working together again on a Jackie Kennedy film:

The hot spec script Jackie, about the immediate days following President Kennedy’s assassination, is getting the big screen treatment with Academy-Award winning actress Rachel Weisz attached to play the late first lady. Weisz’s fiancee, director Darren Aronofsky (The Wrestler), will direct and produce, along with his producing partner Scott Franklin and their Protozoa Pictures film company. The script had been rumored as a Steven Spielberg-produced telefilm for HBO, but Spielberg is not involved in any way, though his agency, CAA, has put together the package that they are now shopping to the major studios.

Post-JFK assassination? So bleak. Why can't we see a movie about Jackie Kennedy's more pleasant times? Like when Jackie Kennedy was in Scream, and when Jackie Kennedy had that prank show on the WB where they were always "X'ing" people. I fucking love that guy.
