I'm incredibly intrigued by a film that's so deliberately defying convention by putting Michel Gondry in the director's seat in a superhero film with Seth Rogen as the writer and star. Yet how am I not supposed to just keep staring at these images as if they were part of a bizarre Photoshop contest to put the star of Knocked Up in various unlikely scenarios? Hopefully the trailer, which debuts tonight at midnight, will clear that up. Maybe with narration repeatedly asserting, "No, seriously, Seth Rogen is the Green Hornet. Stop thinking about him in Freaks & Geeks."
