Regardless what you thought of X-Men Origins: Wolverine (that it was terrible?), it made a lot of money, so we're definitely getting a sequel. The question remains, however, of who's going to direct this POS--but Vulture says it's down to two names: David Slade (30 Days of Night, Eclipse) and Robert Schwentke (The Time Traveler's Wife, Red, that SNL sketch about Schwentke Balls). According to the report, the choice is ultimately in the hands of Hugh Jackman--the star of Van Helsing and Kate & Leopold knows what's best for the character--who will meet with both next week before he makes his decision, so we should know soon. Whomever is chosen, may the X-Treme French Vanilla Cappuccino flow freely in celebration of our new Wolverine director.
