Terminator Franchise Becoming More Like Shrek

Welp, looks like Terminator will be following the path of The Animatrix and The Chronicles of Cartoon Riddick, continuing the story of John Connor and Arnold Terminator through animation. Hannover House and Red Bear Entertainment have announced plans to develop Terminator 3000, "a $70-million dollar budgeted, 3D animated feature film based on the characters and situations introduced in the original Terminator feature," only with this awesome, futuristic number attached now. The studio is aiming for a PG-13 rating, and though no plot details are yet being revealed, I'm guessing it has something to do with robot skeletons being assholes to humans. Production is expected to start at the beginning of next year, so don't worry, Darrell Hammond--you have plenty of time to refine your Schwarzenegger impression.
