There Will Be a Film Called 'Shark Night 3-D'

Seemingly taking Piranha 3-D as some kind of challenge, producer Mike Fleiss--executive producer of the Hostel sesries, the Bachelor/ettes series, and the 1998 TV special World's Wildest Websites--has begun amassing a young cast for Shark Night 3-D, a film that will be exactly what you're thinking. Heat Vision reports Sinqua Walls, Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz and Joel David Moore (above, unsurprisingly playing "the comic relief as a socially awkward guy") have joined the cast of the three-dimensional fish movie, all playing vacationers at a Louisiana lake house who will eventually be eaten by abnormally large freshwater sharks that are prehistoric, or genetically-engineered, or whatever someone can come up with before the September start date. Lest you think directing duties would ever be left to someone uninitiated to the world of ridiculously-titled predatory animal films, the article notes that Snakes on a Plane's David Ellis will be the one instructing the actors to scream and thrash around more, so rest easy and start counting the days until this is added to Discovery Channel's Shark Week.
