Mind of M. Night Shyamalan's Next Film Revealed

September 15, 2010

If you didn't know, the Mind of M. Night Shyamalan produces ideas at such a rapid-fire pace, he doesn't even have time to make them all into increasingly poor-received films himself anymore. He's had to start the Night Chronicles banner--under which other writers and directors take the Mind of M. Night Shyamalan's rough, lumpy, inane twist-endings and do their best to mold them into something resembling a movie--to shoulder some of the burden that is possessing the fertile Mind of M. Night Shyamalan.

We know what our first Night Chronicle will be--this weekend's Devilvator--and Shyamalan revealed that the third in the series would be based around an idea he had for Unbreakable 2, but what's coming next? Here's what: The Last Exorcism's Daniel Stamm has signed on to direct Reincarnate, the second Night Chronicles venture, from a script by Buried's Chris Sparling and M. Night Shyamalan's Mind that tells of "a jury haunted by supernatural forces while deciding the fate of an accused murderer." Sounds like I'm not the only one who recently watched Jury Duty and considered how Pauly Shore could be a more effective character as a partying apparition. (The Mind of M. Night Shyamalan also thought this.)
