- Entertainment Weekly has some new production photos from HBO's Game of Thrones (above). You'll be pleased to see HBO even included an overweight, neck-bearded character to appease all the overweight, neck-bearded guys who dress up like that anyway.

- Good news: despite previous reports, it seems Robert Zemeckis will not direct that remake of The Wizard of Oz. Unfortunately, someone else probably will.

- Zack Snyder has reportedly started the search for his Superman, and is looking for someone to "either be a discovery or on TV but likely someone who isn't well known yet" and "in the age range of 28-to-32." But that won't stop anyone from asking 39-year-old Jon Hamm about it for a few more months.

- Darren Aronofsky has signed a two-year deal with Fox. Considering Fox Searchlight already distributed The Wrestler and Black Swan, and that Aronofsky will probably be working on Fox's The Wolverine through a lot of the two years, this hardly means anything. Forget I said it.
