Good if you want to see: half a Harry Potter book.

The Next Three Days

Starring: Russell Crowe, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Neeson
Good if you want to see: Russell Crowe jailbreak his wife because he doesn't think she committed the murder she's been accused of. So if she did do it, man is Russell Crowe ever going to be teed off.

Starring: Sally Hawkins, Bob Hoskins, Miranda Richardson, Rosamund Pike
Good if you want to see: the based-on-a-true story of women fighting for equal rights in a Ford plant--a movement that, today, can be seen in both sexes getting laid off at equal rates.

Starring: Isabelle Huppert, Christopher Lambert
Good if you want to see: a French woman battling to keep her African coffee plantation afloat despite local civil conflict. Also, The Highlander is apparently there.

Starring: Jim Sturgess, Clémence Poésy, Noel Clarke, Joseph Mawle
Good if you want to see: a Faustian tale of an East London guy with a gross facial birthmark joining forces with the darkness around him. He can't just get some makeup?

Starring: Aasif Mandvi, Dean Winters, Jess Weixler
Good if you want to see: that guy from The Daily Show learning to cook and, perhaps, learning to live? And if the original Today's Special is any indication, a mannequin will come to life.
