Captain America Shoots Requisite "Yikes, Modernity!" Scene

April 25, 2011

If you thought you were getting away with a Captain America movie sans a big culture shock jump to present day, it appears you were mistaken. On Saturday, Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson were spotted picking up some last minute shots in Times Square, shooting a Forever Young-style, thawed-out-Cap-in-modern-day scene that will apparently conclude July's Captain America and bridge across to The Avengers. Because what's a naïve, displaced person film without a scene that finds an excuse to plop them in Manhattan's most overwhelmingly lurid district? God knows they had to do something to compete with the undeniable hilarity of The Smurfs.
