Father Christian Bale Clearly Our Coolest Priest, and More

- Here's a first look at Christian Bale's American priest impression in the Chinese production Nanjing Heroes. He is already a way cooler minister than any bleached-haired guy who asks his teen congregation to have "a sitdown" to discuss the power of Christ.*

- The Lost/Alias/Fringe writing team of Monica Breen and Alison Schapker will keep up their J.J. Abrams relationship by doing a rewrite on Zanbato, a project Abrams is developing that's said to somehow involve swashbuckling Japanese robots with swords. Swashbuckling Japanese robots with swords could always use a lady's touch.

- Woody Allen's upcoming Rome-set film is reportedly titled "The Wrong Picture." I can already see star Jesse Eisenberg stammering his way out of this picture mix-'em-up!

- Isla Fisher is in talks to play Myrtle in Baz Luhrmann's 3-D adaptation of The Great Gatsby. So blame her for the Gatsby mansion getting torn down.

- Can't go a few hours without more people being added to the Hunger Games cast. Now Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan's kid, Jack Quaid, as well as Leven Rambin, have been added as Marvel and Glimmer, respectively. Surely those were already characters on Jem, though, right?

*In my understanding, that's the default "cool minister."
