Mac is Back, and Dressed as Luigi, and More...

April 7, 2011

- Alright, anti-folkers: The Moldy Peaches' Adam Green directed a 72-minute-film--shot entirely on an iPhone, largely by IWS acquaintance Toby Goodshank--called The Wrong Ferarri, and you can watch the whole thing online. I haven't had a chance to get into it, so I can't speak of its somewhat experimental content, but the above scene involving Macaulay Culkin in a Luigi outfit should at least keep The Internet sated for one more day.

- Rob Riggle is going to be the 21 Jump Street villain, "a member of D.A.D. -- Dads Against Drugs. -- who has a burn-marked face and is secretly the main drug supplier." Spoiler?

- Javier Bardem closed the deal to play the lead in Ron Howard's Dark Tower adaptation. Said adaptation involves three feature films and a limited-run TV series, so that's probably the last Javier Bardem news we'll have this decade.

- Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld is already in talks for a third post-True Grit film, this time an indie adaptation of Romeo and Juliet by Italian director Carlo Carlie. Unless Roland Emmerich has something to say about the validity of this news item.
