Good if you want to see: clever, well-composed, precocious coming-of-age that can substitute for your weekend dose of Rushmore or Harold & Maude.

Good if you want to see: Ewan McGregor learn that ol' dad is both gay and dying of cancer, meaning his father had long been living the lie of being straight and not dying of cancer.
Beautiful Boy (limited)

Starring: Michael Sheen, Maria Bello, Kyle Gallner
Good if you want to see: a married couple on the verge of separation forced back together because of their son's participation in school shooting. I suppose video games will be blamed for keeping unhappy couples together now, too?

Good if you want to see: The Lizard being a Welsh drug smuggler.
