Rhys Ifans Could Add Stringy-Haired Element to 'Bond 23'

July 18, 2011

Rhys Ifans and Daniel Craig, seen above as a high-spirited gay couple you're having brunch with, may once again be sharing the screen on the next James Bond film. If the The Telegraph is to be believed--and I'm not sure it should be--Ifans, who last co-starred and shared lip contact with Craig on 2004's Enduring Love, will have a part in Sam Mendes's upcoming Bond film, joining a cast rumored to also contain Javier Bardem and Ifans' Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 co-star Ralph Fiennes. If true, it's shaping up to be a big 2012 for Ifans, who also has The Amazing Spider-Man--in which he'll be doused in fluids and turning into a lizard man--and The Five-Year Engagement coming out next year. His hair tendrils must be positively frenzied with excitement.
