- Here's the new Tower Heist poster, still greasy from where Brett Ratner put his fingers on it.

- The Fall's Lee Pace has joined Steven Spielberg's Lincoln as New York City mayor Fernando Wood, any early supporter of the Confederates. I suppose being an early supporter is better than being one of these guys who still has the Confederate flag bumper stickers.

- Greetings, boils and ghouls: a new Tales from the Crypt series is in the works, only it "will neither be anthological nor related to the HBO show." No word on if a puppet will serve as crypt custodian.

- According to Deadline, Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel have joined that Trance remake Danny Boyle is doing with James McAvoy. If we look to the plot of Zookeeper for answers, it would seem the most likely way Dawson's casting came about was that Boyle tried first casting a stuck-up blonde actress but later settled on homely Dawson thanks to the advice of some restaurant-shilling talking animal friends.

- Todd Strauss-Schulson, director of the upcoming A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (note: we're still making Harold & Kumar movies), has sold a pitch to New Line that involves Brazil somehow. Do with that knowledge what you will.
