- Arnold Schwarzenegger is in talks to star in the indie thriller Captive, which would see him as an American real estate mogul kidnapped in Brazil and held in an armored truck that he'll have to use his Arnold Strength to escape from. Despite the specific mention of being American, the character will also have an Austrian background that will be communicated through a thick accent. Just so you know.

- Guitarist and Slasher Films head, Slash, has selected Thomas Hayden Church to star in his production company's first film, because Slash loved the way Sideways totally SHREDDED his understanding of the motivations and dissatisfaction of middle-aged men.

- Well, I hope you weren't counting on picking up a pair of those Back to the Future II self-tying shoes. For one thing, you would look like a jackass in them. For another thing, turns out they don't even actually tie themselves. Also: Nike only had their child slaves make 150 of them, and they're being auctioned off on eBay to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, thus driving the price per pair well into the thousands.
