As we learned back in July, Joss Whedon and Cloverfield writer Drew Goddard'sCabin in the Woods will finally--having sat on the shelf for years as star Chris Hemsworth matured into a fine young man/Norse Thunder God--reach theaters in April. The film was long delayed due to MGM being broke chumps eating ramen off discarded Bond scripts, but now Lionsgate is heading up the film's distribution, and as such, here's the first poster:

As for the Rubik's Cube imagery, it likely has something to do with Lionsgate's claim Cabin in the Woods is "a mind blowing horror film that turns the genre inside out." Just as Rubik's Cubes blow minds by how they turn the color alignment genre inside out. Or maybe it's just that putting the now-famous Chris Hemsworth on the poster would have totally got them sued.
