We're already a few days into 2012, the year of our undoing, but if you're willing to give the films of 2011 one more distant, wistful glance back before departing for a new, questionably-hopeful cinematic landscape, I ask that you cast your gaze upon Matt Shapiro's 2011: The Cinescape. Like the 2011 trailer mash-up from a week-and-a-half ago, this video montage takes striking elements and memorable moments from innumerable films of the last year and arranges them into various themes--and, of course, one those themes inevitably includes Matt Damon's eternal, incredulous "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?", the "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn" of this generation. This montage is sort of a lot better than the last one, though, so give it a look.
