- James Cameron is once again getting sued for stealing the plot to Avatar, this time by Elijah Schkeiban, the self-confessed creator of a franchise called Bats & Butterflies. The fact that an actual lawyer has taken on the case and filed suit hints that we should perhaps take a serious look at the claims, but the Bats & Butterflies cover art says otherwise.

- Chloe Sevigny has joined the cast of the Amanda Seyfried-starring Linda Lovelace biopic, Lovelace. Demi Moore, meanwhile, has left the project to seek "professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health" far away from the mocking promos for a new Two and a Half Men.

- Through Groupon and LivingSocial, respectively, Lionsgate and Summit are offering discounted tickets to the upcoming releases of One for the Money and Man on a Ledge--the studios' way of saying, "Thank you. Now if we help pay, will you watch this shitty Katherine Heigl thing?"
